Glenview Fire Donations & Distribution Map On January 11, 2011, the City Council approved a program to distribute the donated funds to the residents based on the severity of damage to their home. The approved distributions are: $6,000 to the residents of a home destroyed and demolished, $4,000 to the residents of a home that sustained moderate damage and $1,000 to residents whose home had minor damage requiring a building permit. These funds will be distributed to the record owners of owner-occupied properties or the tenants of non-owner occupied properties. The map below shows the properties that qualify for the first round of disbursement. After setting aside $58,000 of the donated funds for individuals for extreme and unexpected circumstances related to the fire, the City Council was able to distribute the funds in June 2011. The City, however, continues to receive additional donations and will continue to accept requests for these additional funds for future distribution.
