Library Open House |
Please join the Friends of the San Bruno Public Library at their annual Winter Open House in celebration of the new year on January 8 from 10 AM to 9 PM at the Library. There will be books for sale on display, and hot cider and treats will be served.
Friends of the Library will be on-site to greet you, answer questions, sign-up new members and recruit volunteers to help sort the book donations for the ongoing Book Sale. |

Bridge of Sighs. Richard Russo's portraits of smalltown life may be read not only as fine novels but as invaluable guides to the economic decline of the American Northeast. Join the Bibliomaniacs to dicuss this book on Thursday, January 17 at 7 PM in City Hall room 113. |
| Celebrate the Year of the Rat |
On Monday, February 4 at 6:30 PM join us in the children's room for stories in Mandarin and English, crafts, and a New Year's snack. |
| Storytime |
\We have Family Storytime Mondays at 7 PM for children 3 and up and
Itsy-Bitsy Storytime Thursdays at 11 AM for children 18 months-3 years. Hora de Cuentos Bilingües / Bilingual Storytime Enero/January 8, 15, 22, 29 - Martes a las 11 AM / Tuesdays at 11 AM. Programa interactivo de cuentos para hablantes de inglés, español o los dos. El programa es para todos los niños, pero es ideal para los de 2 hasta 4 años de edad. Interactive storytime for speakers of Spanish, English, or both. All ages are welcome but storytime is specifically geared to 2-4 year olds and kids are encouraged to participate. |
| Holiday Closure |
The Library will close at 6 PM on December 31 for New Years Eve. We will be closed on January 1, for New Year's Day.Also, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Library will be closed January 19 - 21, Saturday through Monday. |
