Welcome Susan!
Susan Goetz

Please join us in welcoming our new librarian Susan Goetz! Susan joins us after ten years in the San Mateo County Library System, most recently as the Branch Manager of the Woodside, Atherton, and Portola Valley Libraries. Here at the San Bruno Library, she will be working with all age groups, with a special focus on teens and tweens, programming, family literacy, and volunteers. Susan received her library degree from San Jose State University and completed her undergraduate education at UC Davis. She is an alumna of San Mateo High School and grew up in Foster City. Prior to becoming a librarian, Susan worked in the non-profit world as a community organizer in Oakland, and later as a researcher, writer, and trainer. She is looking forward to working with all our wonderful library patrons and residents of San Bruno!
