Meeting location: Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno, CA.
City Council meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised and City Council Rules of Procedure. You may address any agenda item by standing in front of the microphone until recognized by Council. All regular Council meetings are recorded and televised on CATV Channel 11 and replayed the following Thursday, at 2:00 pm. You may listen to recordings in the City Clerk's Office, purchase cassette and video copies, access our web site at www.sanbruno.ca.gov and San Bruno residents may check out video copies at the Library. Hold Public Hearing, Waive First Reading and Introduce an Ordinance Adding Chapter 6.52 Governing Tobacco Retailer Permits to the San Bruno Municipal Code.
9. CONDUCT OF BUSINESS:
a. Receive Oral Report on the 2008 Fireworks Season
b. Receive Oral Report in the City’s Mid-Management Leadership Development Program and Presentation by the “Image Builders” Project Team.
c. Adopt Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute One-Year Use Agreement with the Girl Scouts of Northern California for the Carlton Corner Facility at 299 Carlton Avenue.
d. Receive Report and Provide Direction to Staff Regarding Recycling at the City Recreation Facilities.
e. Adopt Resolution Approving Appropriations Upgrading Two Positions to Executive Assistants as Part of Reorganization and Funding Human Resources Meetings/Conferences in City Manager’s Recommended 2008-09 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Funds Budget, and Capital Improvement Program Budget.
f. Adopt Resolution Approving Revised Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for the Housing Endowment and Regional Trust (HEART) of San Mateo County.
