Meeting location: Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno, CA.

City Council meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised and City Council Rules of Procedure. You may address any agenda item by standing in front of the microphone until recognized by Council. All regular Council meetings are recorded and televised on CATV Channel 11 and replayed the following Thursday, at 2:00 pm. You may listen to recordings in the City Clerk's Office, purchase cassette and video copies, access our web site at www.sanbruno.ca.gov and San Bruno residents may check out video copies at the Library. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals requiring reasonable accommodation for this meeting should notify us 48 hours prior to meeting. 3.   ANNOUNCEMENTS:

a. The 32nd Annual Pancake Breakfast will be held Saturday, April 16 at 9:00 a.m. and Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11:00 a.m. at San Bruno City Park.

b. The Annual Operation Clean Sweep Event will be held on Saturday, May 7 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at San Bruno City Park.

4.   PRESENTATIONS:

a. Present Proclamation Declaring April 24 to 30 as West Niles Virus and Mosquito and Vector Control Awareness Week.

b. Receive Donation from Half Moon Bay Rotaract Club to Benefit the Residents in the Glenview Fire Area.

5.   REVIEW OF AGENDA:

6.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES: City Council Meetings of February 8 and 22, 2011.

7.   CONSENT CALENDAR: All items are considered routine or implement an earlier Council action and may be enacted by one motion; there will be no separate discussion unless requested by a Councilmember, citizen or staff.

a. Approve: Payroll of March 13, 2011.

b. Approve: Accounts Payable of March 21 and 28 and April 4, 2011.

9.   PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA:

Individuals allowed three minutes, groups in attendance, five minutes.  If you are unable to remain at the meeting, ask the City Clerk to request that the Council consider your comments earlier.  It is the Council's policy to refer matters raised in this forum to staff for investigation and/or action where appropriate. The Brown Act prohibits the Council from discussing or acting upon any matter not agendized pursuant to State Law.

10.   CONDUCT OF BUSINESS:

a. Receive  Update and Provide Direction on Association of Bay Area Government’s Release of the Sustainable Community Strategy Initial Vision Scenario.

b. Adopt Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Contract with the San Bruno Park School District to Provide an After School Recreation Program at Allen School.

c. Receive  Report Regarding Fire Consolidation and Authorize Staff to Proceed with an Implementation Plan to Establish a Consolidated Central County, Millbrae and San Bruno Fire Department.

11.   REPORT OF COMMISSIONS, BOARDS, & COMMITTEES:   

Receive Annual Report from the Community Preparedness Committee.

   Confer with Legal Counsel Regarding Anticipated Litigation (one case) (Cal Gov’t Code Section 54954.9 (a)).
