Meeting location: Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno
City Council meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised and City Council Rules of Procedure. You may address any agenda item by standing in front of the microphone until recognized by Council. All regular Council meetings are recorded and televised on CATV Channel 11 and replayed the following Thursday, at 2:00 pm. You may listen to recordings in the City Clerk's Office, purchase cassette and video copies, access our web site at www.sanbruno.ca.gov and San Bruno residents may check out video copies at the Library. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals requiring reasonable accommodation for this meeting should notify us 48 hours prior to meeting. 2. ROLL CALL/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Receive presentation from Shiyama Clunie, AT&T San Mateo County Government Affairs.
6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: City Council and Planning Commission Joint Special Meeting of October 11, 2011 and City Council Meeting of October 11, 2011.
7. CONSENT CALENDAR: All items are considered routine or implement an earlier Council action and may be enacted by one motion; there will be no separate discussion unless requested by a Councilmember, citizen or staff.
a. Approve: Accounts Payable of October 3. 10 and 17, 2011.
b. Approve: Payroll of October 9, 2011.
c. Adopt: Resolution Accepting $30,000 Grant from the California State Library to Develop a Multipurpose Classroom and Computer Lab in the, San Bruno Library Public Library.
8. PUBLIC HEARINGS (Notices have been published, posted and mailed):
Hold Public Hearing and Adopt Resolution Approving Request for Citizen’s Option for Public Safety Funds for FY 2011/12 in the Amount of $100,000 for Traffic Enforcement.
9. PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA:
Individuals allowed three minutes, groups in attendance, five minutes. If you are unable to remain at the meeting, ask the City Clerk to request that the Council consider your comments earlier. It is the Council's policy to refer matters raised in this forum to staff for investigation and/or action where appropriate. The Brown Act prohibits the Council from discussing or acting upon any matter not agendized pursuant to State Law.
10. CONDUCT OF BUSINESS:
a. Receive Quarterly Financial Report as of September 30, 2011 for the City and Redevelopment Agency Fiscal Year 2011-12 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Funds, and Internal Service Funds.
b. Adopt Resolution Approving First Quarter Budget Amendments for the City and Redevelopment Agency Fiscal Year 2011-12 Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budgets.
c. Adopt Resolution Amending the Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of San Bruno and the Public Safety Mid-Management Group to Establish Compensation for a Battalion Chief Position Assigned to a Fire Prevention Position.
