The San Bruno Historical Photo Gallery
This photo, taken in the 1930's, shows San Bruno being developed at a steady pace. Development during this period mostly took place near Uncle Tom's Cabin, which is the tree-filled area (center) where San Mateo Avenue meets El Camino Real. After World War II most development took place mostly to the west (left) of this photo. Tanforan race track can be seen at the top.
