San Bruno Sends Strike Team to Humboldt Fire

Four San Bruno Firefighters went with a Strike Team of Engines to Butte Counties to help battle the raging Humboldt fire. The firefighters spent four days in the woods protecting structures that were threatened by the fire. San Bruno was part of a State wide mutual aid Strike Team that also included 14 other pieces of apparatuses from San Mateo County. The Fire consumed more than 23,300 acres and destroyed or damaged 102 structures.
