How do I apply for a job with the City of San Bruno?
The City of San Bruno only accepts applications for open positions. Job announcements can be obtained by visiting our Human Resources Department, calling (650) 616-7055 or viewing our Current Openings page. To apply with paper application, visit or contact the Human Resources Department. Complete the application and check for errors before signing the form. Mail or deliver the completed employment applications and all other materials where required (e.g. supplemental questionnaire, certification) by the closing date to City of San Bruno, Human Resources Department, 567 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066. To apply online, you must visit the San Bruno website. Move your cursor to Departments, drop down to "Human Resources", and click "Job Opportunities". Once you are on the Current Openings page, follow the instructions and click the link that redirects to the Calopps website. Once you are on the San Bruno page of the Calopps website, click on the interested position, read the announcement, and click on "Apply". Whether you are mailing the application or submitting the application online, you must submit the application before the deadline (Check on the job announcement for the final filling date). The Human Resources Department will only accept applications received before the deadline, and for positions that the City is currently recruiting.
If I submit a resume, do I still need to complete the City of San Bruno application?
