Volunteer @ Your Library!
There are many opportunities for teens to get involved at the San Bruno Library, and earn community service credit at the same time!
You can join our Teen Advisory Board (TAB is currently on break), also known as TAB. TAB meets once a month during the school year to help the library plan and promote teen services.
The library is currently looking for teen volunteers to help with our newspaper project. We are working on transferring historical newspaper articles into binders that will make these articles more accessible. You can become an expert at local history.
There are ongoing projects including cleaning of our public computers, and shelf reading (which makes sure all of our library materials are in the right order).
We also need your help developing this website. If you have any recommendations for cool teen web sites, or helpful school & homework sites, let us know!
The hours are flexible, you can bring in your headphones for most tasks, you can meet new people, and learn more about your local library.
Contact Susan at (650) 616-7078 or goetz@plsinfo.org to schedule a time to volunteer.
