What should I do with expired or unused prescription medications?
In the wrong hands, prescription medications can have fatal consequences. If they are not disposed of properly, they can contaminate the wastewater system. The San Bruno Police Department is one of several law enforcement agencies in the County to house a drop off container for this pilot program. Residents can bring their unused medication and place the items into the marked receptacle located in the Police Department lobby. The lobby is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please do not dispose needles or syringes in the receptacle.
