"Back to School" Message

The San Bruno Police Department would like to remind all residents that school is back in session. Please be aware of the increase in pedestrian traffic surrounding San Bruno schools and neighborhoods. Educate your children on safe walking habits, such as teaching them where to cross the street and reminding them to always look both ways before crossing.

The Department would also like to remind motorists to be patient when driving around designated school zones. Please obey traffic laws when dropping off or picking up your kids at school. Do not drop off or pick up your children in unsafe places such as bus zones, red zones, or crosswalks. Officers from the San Bruno Police Department will be vigilantly conducting traffic enforcement in school zones.

Following simple rules regarding driver and pedestrian safety can help our students enjoy a safe school year.
