What Goes in My Recycling?

Paper, glass bottles, cardboard, cans, and most plastics, marked numbers 1 through 7 (no black plastic or plastic bags). Commercial customers may use clear plastic bags to bundle their recyclable materials.

  • Phonebooks and soft cover books
  • Shredded paper (in a folded paper bag labeled "shredded paper" and placed inside your blue Recycle cart)
  • Wrapping paper (non-metallic)
  • Glass bottles and jars only (metal caps and lids too)
  • Coffee cup lids
  • Plastic bottles caps, tubs and lids, cups and containers, including clamshells, numbered 1 through 7
  • Plastic buckets
  • Aluminum cans, foil, and trays
  • Caps and lids from bottles, jars and steel/tin cans
  • Paint and aerosol cans (must be empty or dry)
  • Steel (tin) cans
