6-Month Pilot Program Allowing On-Leash Dogs in City Park and Grundy Park

On April 24, 2017 the City of San Bruno launched a pilot program to allow on-leash dogs on park pathways in City Park and Grundy Park only. The 6-month pilot program runs from April 24 through October 23, 2017. During this period, dogs are permitted to walk on a leash no longer than six feet in length, on park pathways, and handlers must clean-up immediately after their dog. For more information please call 650-616-7185 or read our informational pamphlet

Service Recognition Program

The City of San Bruno Service Recognition Program provides a way to honor the contributions of individuals or groups who have provided dedicated service to the San Bruno community. Both the Special and Extraordinary Service Recognition honor individuals and organizations who have served the community in a significant manner over an extended period of time. The nature of this service must demonstrate a positive impact on San Bruno residents and the individual or organization must be viewed as a community role model. Their contributions should be evident by new or enhanced programs or new or improved City facilities.

Personal Tribute Program

The City of San Bruno Personal Tribute Program provides a way for people to honor or remember a loved one in the San Bruno community.

Reflections Sculpture Tribute - In tribute and remembrance, a loved one may be honored with a 3"x3" commemorative bronze plaque on the San Bruno Reflections Sculpture in City Park. Plaques are inscribed with the honoree's first and last name, the date of the recognition and with either "In Honor of" or "In Memory of."

Park Amenity Tributes - Personal tributes may also be given through a donation for a specific park amenity (tree, bench, water fountain, picnic table, etc.) Staff from the Community Services Department is available to assist donors in the selection of a park amenity.
