Do You Shop Downtown?

The City of San Bruno is conducting a shopping survey called "Downtown Pulse." This survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts on the downtown area from the perspective of shopper, property owner, and business owner.

Why Is The City Doing This?

The City has spent the past several years investing thousands of dollars to beautify the Downtown Area along San Mateo Avenue by installing banners, new planters for trees, branded wastebin, and new newspaper boxes. Working with local groups, the City has starting initiatives like 1st Thursdays, and it is actively exploring other ways to support Downtown businesses and activation. Additionally, the City refurbished Centennial Plaza in 2024, opened Florida Park in 2025, and is actively repairing the fountain at Posey Park while revamping the space.

The City wants to know if this investment has been effective and to identify the path for making San Mateo Avenue San Bruno's shopping area of choice.

Why Should You Do This Survey?

This survey is an opportunity to share your voice and influence the priorities of the City of San Bruno. The results will be presented in January 2026, and the information collected from this survey will be used by the City Council to help select their priorities for next year.

Additional Information

This survey is only being conducted online and it should take 10-20 minutes to complete, depending on the number of questions you choose to answer.

You can access it by visiting SanBruno.ca.gov/DowntownPulse. Responses will be accepted until December 31, 2025.
