Recruitments - Part Time

Please follow these steps for part-time temporary recruitments.

  1. Department contacts HR with recruitment request
  2. HR works with Department to conduct a competency intake, open a recruitment, do outreach, screen applications, schedules interviews, etc.
  3. Department conducts interviews
  4. Department conducts reference checks for final candidate(s)
  5. HR issues offer letter and works with candidate on background checks, live scan fingerprinting*, and medical/TB appointments (if needed) *Jackie has indicated she would still like to do fingerprinting for Community Services candidates
  6. Once candidate is cleared to start, Department sends PAF
  7. HR works with candidate on first-day paperwork, mandatory training, etc.
